My profile picture
Hi, I'm Lord Cigel Salvar, an Information Systems Developer based in Davao City, Philippines. Over the past year, I've been building real-world web solutions — from dynamic government platforms to workflow automations that actually make people's lives easier. My journey wasn't a straight line. I started as a Criminology student in senior high school, but when the pandemic hit, it reshaped everything — including my path. I pivoted to technology, and looking back, it was the best decision I ever made. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Cor Jesu College (2024–2025), and I've been building ever since.

What I Work With

My core stack revolves around TALL (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire) and VILT (Vue.js, Inertia.js, Laravel, Tailwind) — two of the most powerful combos for building modern, full-featured web applications. I also work with n8n for workflow automation, connecting systems and eliminating repetitive processes so teams can focus on what matters.

What I Build

I specialize in backend development with a focus on government systems and CMS-driven platforms. There's something deeply satisfying about building systems that serve the public — tools that need to be reliable, scalable, and easy to manage. I enjoy turning complex requirements into clean, maintainable solutions.Beyond that, I'm passionate about automation — whether it's orchestrating n8n workflows or wiring up integrations that save hours of manual work every week.

My Approach

I believe good software should be invisible — it should just work, without friction, without confusion. I approach every project with a focus on clarity: clean architecture, readable code, and systems that the next developer (or future me) can actually understand and maintain.

Beyond the Screen

When I'm not writing code, you'll find me tending to my backyard crayfish farm — there's a quiet patience to aquaculture that pairs surprisingly well with the problem-solving mindset of a developer. I also unwind in Black Desert Online, and a good cup of coffee is basically a non-negotiable part of my workflow.I'm open to freelance work and collaborations — especially projects involving government systems, CMS development, or automation. Feel free to browse my projects or get in touch if you'd like to work together!
